Frequently
Asked Questions

What is your therapeutic style?

I am an energetic, neurodivergent, first generation clinician who is not your average provider and I’m damn proud about it.

The therapeutic style of a provider can really impact your experiences in therapy, which is why you deserve to be specific on what matches your needs. As your therapist, I strive to be my authentic self at all times, which means being human first - the honest, messy, and sometimes unfiltered version. The goal is for us to feel a sense of connection, curiosity, and openness that is built off of trust and understanding which allows your truest self to unravel. Let me support your soul through this adventure of life by letting you be unapologetically you.

It’s my focus to encourage curiosity within yourself, building awareness and understanding of your thoughts, and feelings that impact your behaviors and overall functioning within life.

What services do you provide?

It’s my priority to find what best fits your needs, whether it be your individual or relational. As a multi-specialized therapist, I offer a variety of services based on CBT practices. But don’t be fooled, let's leave that inauthentic exchange in the past and step into a fresh perspective of therapy as a whole.

I provide individual therapy that is strength based and realistic for who you are and what you need. By creating a space for deeper understanding and openness towards change, we can envision who you really are, and identify the steps towards transformation together.

I specialize in couples therapy, highlighting the mutual connection between individuals in relationships and finding understanding through honesty and desire for change through vulnerability and support. With the influence of Gottman theories, let's step out of your comfort zone to open up the possibilities of growth within your partnership you are hoping for.

This will not be what you expect, but isn’t that really the point?

Why choose Soul Psychotherapy? How are these services different from the norm?

Envision how you think therapy would “typically” look like, and now let that vanish and envision what you need it to look like...THAT is what Soul Psychotherapy provides.

Let's not welcome that mediocre therapy, and step into the realness of the therapeutic experience with honest exchange of empathy, and support. A safe, open, encouraging space that allows vulnerability to reach farther beyond what you thought, and guide you towards whoever you’re growing to be. What that could be is completely unique to who you are, your experiences, beliefs and values. Where this leads you we might not know, but let’s figure out what that looks like, together.

How much does services cost?

Soul Psychotherapy accepts most major insurances and has an hourly $150 fee for Individual sessions and a $250 fee for couples sessions. My priority is always to provide care that not only meets your needs, but doesn’t break the bank. I am more than willing to work with clients to meet both their therapeutic needs and financial needs if necessary.

What can you expect in session?

Connection is crucial for our well being. Whether it be through being validated, or feeling heard, or just simply sharing space with someone, all of it can have an impact. My sessions are focused on welcoming the realities of being a person without judgment and instead with gentleness. A unique blend of accountability that meets compassion and a whole lot of authenticity, we can experience the rawness of emotion and welcome transformation through radical growth. Expect the unexpected when it comes to diving deeper into who you are, who you once were, and who you are becoming.

How long have you been a therapist?

I have been a licensed therapist for 3 years, and have worked in a plethora of therapeutic settings for roughly 10 years. I have ranged from residential care, partial hospitalization, in-home therapy, therapeutic mentoring, and outpatient care. My diverse experiences provide a unique approach that helps match the needs for all the clients I serve.
